There has been a significant increase in the implementation of both short-term and long-term student exchange programmes with foreign universities and institutes in recent years.
The Pedagogical Institute of the Swiss Federal State, Hanyang, Kyungsung, Gachon, Jeju, and Sunchon Universities in Korea, Aichi and Akita Universities in Japan, Hyogo Educational University, Northeastern Teacher's University in China, Normal University of Inner Mongolia, Branch school in Erlian of Inner Mongolian Normal University, Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, and Halimag State University of the Russian Federation are just a few of the universities and institutes with which our university has engaged in both short-term and long-term student exchange programmes.
Through student exchange programmes, our students have been actively studying in esteemed colleges in South Korea, particularly in recent years. The Korean government announced a scholarship student exchange programme for public schools starting in 2024, selecting 27 students from 5 schools. Yanjindulam, a student of Mongolian language and literature teacher course, attending Jeju University, was chosen for the programme and awarded a monthly living allowance of 440,000 won, or 1,200,000 MNT, along with a round-trip airfare.
At the Teacher's University in Inner Mongolia, thirty students are enrolled in courses on language and literature studies as well as teaching Mongolian language and literature.
This academic year, 356 students from the Republic of Korea, China, Russia, and Japan are enrolled in our university to study master's, doctorate, and bachelor's degrees. Universities such as Aichi University of Japan, University of Education in the Republic of Korea, Northeast Teacher's University in China, Inner Mongolian Normal University of China, Halimag State University of the Russian Federation, and University of Buriat in the Russian Federation are sending more than... students on long- and short-term exchange programmes.
